Our Board Certified Family Physicians have been in practice since 1997. Our practice is based on an "old fashioned" Family Medicine philosophy of service and commitment to health maintenance and disease prevention. As Osteopathic Family Physicians, we treat the body as a whole.
With 50 years of combined experience, our Family Medicine Physicians will assess you and create a custom plan that's right for you. We understand the importance of educating you on the most effective ways to take care of your body, so that you can heal quickly.
Our physicians are Clinical Faculty at Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition, both physicians are teaching faculty with the Family Medicine Residency Program at CarePoint Health Christ Hospital in Jersey City and Bayonne Medical Center (where Dr. Tsompanidis serves as the Chief Academic Officer). In addition to teaching medical students, Family Medicine Residents rotate in our office as part of their core outpatient education.
Not only will our doctors treat your existing conditions, we also work to maximize your prevention strategies. We strive to help you improve your quality of life, achieve your wellness goals, and support your best possible life.
At Antonios Tsompanidis, D.O. PC, we treat even the smallest members of the family.

Learn how osteopathic physicians use OMT to help patients find relief from muscle pain, migraines and carpal tunnel.
Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment, or OMT, is a set of hands-on techniques used by osteopathic physicians (DOs) to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness or injury. Using OMT, a DO moves a patient’s muscles and joints using techniques that include stretching, gentle pressure and resistance.
As part of their education, DOs receive special training in the musculoskeletal system, the body’s intricate system of muscles, nerves and bones. This advanced training provides DOs with a keen understanding of how the body’s systems are interconnected and how each one affects the others.
When appropriate, OMT can complement, and even replace, drugs or surgery. In this way, DOs bring an important dimension to standard medical care.
OMT can help people of all ages and backgrounds. The treatment can be used to ease pain, promote healing and increase overall mobility. Although often used to treat muscle pain, the treatment can also help patients with a number of other health problems such as:
Through OMT, physicians manually apply a specific amount of pressure to different regions in the body. These techniques can help:
Not feeling well or just need an annual exam? We do it all! We also perform sports physicals and referrals for injuries. Whether you're sick or only need some routine maintenance, we're here for you!
